My Approach

My practice is rooted in a holistic perspective, recognizing that athletes are more than just performers on the field. I value the whole person, acknowledging the interconnectedness of their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I approach every athlete with curiosity to deeply understand their unique identities, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

My guiding principles revolve around creating an athlete-centered environment where individuals serve as the expert on themselves, and I serve as the sport psychology material expert. I want athletes to feel heard, valued as a co-pilot on this journey. This athlete-centered approach is at the core of my coaching philosophy. It means that I prioritize the athlete's needs, goals, and aspirations, tailoring my coaching to their unique journey. I understand that every athlete brings a distinct set of talents, challenges, and dreams to the table, and I am dedicated to acknowledging and nurturing these identities.

I am a firm believer in evidence-based practice, relying on the latest research and proven methodologies to drive my practices. My commitment to data-driven approaches ensures that athletes receive the most effective and efficient training, helping them reach their full potential.

Lastly, I believe in empowering athletes to develop self-awareness and equip themselves with the tools to function independently. While I provide guidance, support, and tools, I also strive to nurture self-reliance, enabling athletes to take ownership of their growth and success. This approach not only fosters resilience but also ensures that athletes can thrive not just during their time under my guidance but throughout their entire athletic journey.
